Victorians deserve answers not political amnesia.
No-one who has appeared before the Hotel Quarantine Inquiry has been able to shed light on who decided to engage private security guards.
This is a decision, opposed by the Commonwealth, which caused Victoria’s second wave of coronavirus and led to hundreds of deaths.
This sorry display of amnesia during this week’s inquiry hearings is not good enough.
Victorians deserve much better than this.
