I am delighted that the new mobile base station at Kennett River has been switched on, funded by the Morrison Liberal Government in partnership with Telstra.
This is yet another example of how the Liberals are standing up for Great Ocean Road communities.
Recently, I announced the signing of our City Deal which will deliver $1.9 million to Kennett River for new tourism infrastructure and a toilet block.
The current Labor MP Libby Coker was missing in action, endorsing a City Deal which excluded Corangamite.
The base station at Kennett River follows the delivery of base stations at Separation Creek, Cape Otway, Apollo Bay and Hordern Vale as well as two small cells to boost mobile coverage at Aireys Inlet and Anglesea.
Under the Liberals, every community matters.
