Following lobbying by residents and representations I made to Colac Otway Shire, I am pleased that Birregurra will soon get a new footpath in Roadknight Street that will link Main Road to the railway station.
I am reliably informed that Colac Otway Shire Council is in full support of a new footpath with details to be finalised in Council’s Capital Works Program this current financial year.
This is a big win for the community and will improve safety for those residents who use Roadknight Street to walk to and from the town’s centre and the train station.
