HomeBuilder delivers for regional Victoria

The Morrison Government’s HomeBuilder program will deliver a major boost for home buyers and renovators across regional Victoria.

Eligible home builders and renovators can apply for a one-off grant of $25,000 to build a new home or substantially renovate an existing home.

The grant will be available for building new homes up to a value of $750,000 or substantial renovation projects worth between $150,000 and $750,000.

Today I joined nurse Liv Niewland who is about to sign a contract to purchase a block of land at Villawood’s Wandana Estate in Geelong. The HomeBuilder grant will help Liv and her partner realise their dream.

I also met scaffolder Quentin Young who is about to purchase a house and land package in Kilmore. He said HomeBuilder was not only a massive incentive but would support jobs in his industry.
