Avalon International Airport
As a result of the Morrison Government’s $20 million contribution to a new international terminal, Avalon Airport has now become Victoria’s second international airport. This is such an important asset for our region and vital for jobs, tourism and our regional economy.
Up until the COVID-19 restrictions, the international airport was offering a daily return flight to Kuala Lumpur on Air Asia X connecting to dozens of other international cities as well as regular flights to Bali on CityLink, the budget airline of Garuda Airlines. These services have been put on hold until international travel restrictions can be lifted.
