The Morrison Government’ Mobile Phone Blackspot Program has supported new or upgraded mobile towers at:
- Pipers Creek
FASTER BROADBAND AND BUSINESS FIBRE ZONES
- Bendigo is amongst the regional cities receiving a high-speed Business Fibre Zone under the NBN’s $700 million Business Fibre Initiative which deliver broadband speeds of up to 1 Gigabyte.
- Supporting regional centres with the $53 million Regional Connectivity Program which will deliver local telecommunications infrastructure to improve access to businesses, telehealth, remote education and retail internet and phone services
HELPING SENIORS CONNECT
The Morrison Government is supporting senior Australians connect to broadband to combat social isolation during COVID-19 including members or residents of:
- Kyneton Community House
- Goldfields Library Corporation
- Bendigo Domain Country Club
- Meadow Gardens
JMR WITH MINISTERS CORMANN, FLETCHER AND COULTON Businesses in Ballarat, Bendigo and Geelong will be able to order high-speed fibre broadband as NBN Co rolls out new Business Fibre Zones, which will help boost economic growth and productivity.
