UPGRADED MOBILE RECEPTION

The Morrison Government’ Mobile Phone Blackspot Program has supported new or upgraded mobile towers at:

  • Blackwood
  • Glenlyon
  • Leonards Hill
  • Bullarto
  • Eganstown
  • Denver

FASTER BROADBAND AND BUSINESS FIBRE ZONES

  • Ballarat is amongst the regional cities receiving a high-speed Business Fibre Zone under the NBN’s $700 million Business Fibre Initiative which deliver broadband speeds of upto 1 Gigabite
  • Supporting regional centres with the $53 million Regional Connectivity Program which will deliver local telecommunications infrastructure to improve access to businesses, telehealth, remote education and retail internet and phone services

HELPING SENIORS CONNECT

The Morrison Government is supporting senior Australians connect to broadband to combat social isolation during COVID-19 including members or residents of:

  • Bellbrook Gardens Country Club;
  • Ballarat North Neighbourhood House;
  • Haddon Community Learning Centre;
  • Wendouree Library;
  • Rosebank Country Club;
  • Melba Vale Country Club; and
  • Meadow Gardens
