NDIS Transition assistance funding opens

The Australian Government has opened the second round of Transition Assistance Funding to help businesses build their workforce capabilities to effectively operate in the NDIS. A total funding pool of $8.8 million is available in this latest round. Bellarine Peninsula cancer cluster inquiry established

I am delighted to have today moved a motion in the Senate to establish a Senate inquiry into a possible cancer cluster on the Bellarine Peninsula. The inquiry, to be conducted by the Community Affairs References Committee, will investigate a possible cancer cluster on the Bellarine Peninsula with particular reference to the health concerns of residents and the incidence of cancer cases in the area, and any possible environmental or other contributing factors.
