Game changing medicines to save Australian cancer patients up to $150,000

Australians living with non-small cell lung cancer and early stage acute lymphoblastic leukaemia will soon be able to access better treatment, thanks to two significant amendments to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS). From December 1 more than 2,200 patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer will be able to access Keytruda® (pembrolizumab) as a first line treatment in combination with chemotherapy. Regional Agricultural Show Development Grants

Show societies in regional Victoria are encouraged to apply for the Australian Government’s Regional Agricultural Show Development Grants before the 13 December deadline in order to upgrade, maintain, buy or build new showground infrastructure and attractions. Opening of refurbished Anglesea and District Men’s Shed

This week, I was delighted to formally open the refurbished Anglesea and District Men’s Shed (on Tuesday 19 November.) Men’s Sheds have become such a vital part of our communities. As well as bringing men together to work on meaningful projects, one of the great successes of Men’s Sheds is the forum they provide to address challenges with men’s health, well-being and friendships. Farm Household Allowance improvements pass Parliament
