Grants of up to $7,000 are now available to empower organisations to collaborate in the global arena, link with international counterparts and explore collaborative projects in international markets.
Applications are now open for Global Connections Fund (GCF) Priming Grants to help Australian researchers and business to expand their work overseas.
“Corangamite has a wealth of international business and research experience which can be capitalised upon to develop greater job opportunities across the region,” Member for Corangamite Sarah Henderson said.
Grants in previous rounds have been used to increase collaboration in science, technology and innovation at the international level. Priming Grants have also seen Australian researchers and small and medium businesses collaborating with partners in Europe, South America, Asia and the USA.
“Seventy-three grantees in previous Priming Grants rounds were able to raise capital exceeding $2.3 million, meaning every government dollar was leveraged more than four times the return.”
“This is a great opportunity for eligible researchers and businesses in the Corangamite electorate to look internationally and take advantage of the assistance on offer in this new round of Priming Grants.”
Priming Grants will be open for Expressions of Interest until 5:00pm (AEDT), 19 February 2018. For more information please visit: https://globalconnectionsfund.org.au/priming-grants/
